This is a delightful little coffee shop tucked in a corner near the center of town (across from the gazebo), with plenty of parking. They feature coffee and tea (of course), and inexpensive breakfasts and breakfast sandwiches, and lunches. But the main attraction is the wide selection of donuts that are made fresh WHILE YOU WATCH. They are amazingly delicious (at this writing, the seasonal favorite pumpkin donut is still on the menu).
Quality of the food is high. The sandwich meats (ham, sausage, scrapple, bologna) are lean and fresh. Every morning they bring in fresh bagels from Georgetown--really good bagels, but get there early because when they run out you'll have to settle for your sandwich on toast.
The owners are always cheerful and happy to see you. Seating is limited, with only 4 or 5 tables inside, but a few tables outside as well when the weather is nice. The interior is clean, but not fancy. Like much of Laurel, it's a piece of small town Americana that gives the region its charm. -

Coffee was fair. Disappointed that the iced coffee was made from some sort of concentrate. It's a shame cuz I'm so close to em. The food is great and homemade. Sad about the coffee. The do have incredible donuts!
If someone was looking for coffee I'd tell em to skip it! But anything else there! Go for it! Great homemade breakfast sandwiches.
The owners/staff, very sweet and friendly. Make ya feel like part of the family! Definitely seems like a local coffee shop for people who live in town. -

It's a very friendly, small and cozy coffee shop. This is my second time visiting for lunch. I had the steak and cheese sub which came with chips and a drink. It was surprisingly good- a good meat to cheese and bread ratio. While it came with toppings, I'm a plain Jane and opted for just meat and cheese. The prices are reasonable- $6 for the meal. I was too full for ice cream or a milk shake, but maybe next time.

While camping at nearby Trap Pond State Park (a gem of a state park), we cycled to the Laurel Coffee Shop for breakfast. Seemed like a good destination, as we are road cyclists and the area is great for cycling.
The shop is pleasant, the owner delightful, the breakfast sandwiches hit the spot, and the donuts are as good as everyone says, but the actual coffee - as one other reviewer pointed out - is appalling.
To advertise as being a coffee shop, we were very disappointed. Absolute cheap, bottom-end garbage.
Do go there, but I'm hoping the owner reads this and changes the coffee. Then she has a five star location. -

Staff was SO nice! Food was good (scrapple egg and cheese was fun) -- so many choices I wish I could have chosen more to eat! The kicker was they make fresh hot donuts to order -- your choice of toppings -- very good!!! Oh, and also got iced coffee which was great too--
